How do boats float?
Boats come in all shapes and sizes, from small canoes to giant super tankers. A boat pushes away a certain amount of the water beneath it. The water pushes back against the boat with an upwards force, called buoyancy, which is equal to the weight of the displaced water. This upwards force keep the boat floating. Lets look the different types of boats.
