Which flag has flown the highest?

Which flag has flown the highest?

A national flag is the symbol of a country and an emblem of its people and history. The Stars and Stripes -  the flag of the United States - star - trekked 383,400 km (238,855 miles) in July 1969 to the surface of the Moon, where it was planted by the Apollo 11 astronauts.

The stars and stripes of the US flag have special meaning. There are 13 stripes for the original 13 states of the Union and 50 stars of the number of states today. Alaska and Hawaii were the last to make their mark on the flag. Two stars were added in 1959 when they became states.
