Can animals talk?

Can animals talk?
Animals can pass on all sorts of messages using touch, smells, and sounds, or visual signals, such as light, colour, and body language. Some signs are clear, like a gorilla smiling at her baby, or subtle, such as a female wolf spider leaving a trail of silk woven with her scent to lure males.

High and lows

As we know sounds are pressure waves travelling through the air. When they disturb air particles close to us, the vibrations are picked up by ears and translated back into sound. These vibrations are measured in Hertz (Hz) is one vibration in second. The more vibrations there are, the higher the sound.

Very amazing and interesting information given below:
·      Elephants rumble at 8 Hz
·      Human ears bear sounds from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz
·      Dogs can hear sounds up  to 45,000 Hz
·      Dolphins communicate with sounds well over 100,000Hz
·      Moths can hear sounds as high as 240,000 Hz

I see what you’re saying!

Dart Frog

The poison dart frog’s colours say “Don’t eat me- I’ll poison you!”

Firefly

The firefly’s bright colours tell predators it tastes bad and should be left alone.

Mandrill

The male leader of a troop of mandrillhas a vivid red stripe on his nose, reminding the rest of the troop whose boss.
